Curriculum developed by Ana Brandt.
Ana will participate in some of the teachings, and her associate photographers will lead the activities.
Students should bring.
Camera/lens/batteries/memory cards - Any camera that has an M on the dial so they can learn how to shoot in manual modes. We can also rent a camera (small fee)
Lunch is provided each day please advise if there are special allergies or you are welcome to bring a lunch.
Comfortable clothing and walking shoes as we will go on mini trips around the property.
Students will be taught.
How to use their camera in studio light and natural light.
All photography and camera terms will be explained.
All of the settings on their camera and how to use them.
How to photograph still objects, as well as people and pets!
Create reels and videos
They will learn how to photograph each other still and moving. (this means fun action games outside)
They will learn how to manipulate natural light and how to create studio light inexpensively.
All students will learn how to do a self portrait that we will develop and print and give as a final project to take home.
And so much more - guaranteed to have fun and be inspired! We believe kids can learn at any age. Ana taught her kids photography at a very young age, and now Evan runs his own studio and Ava is a paid photographer for Chapman.
