Kids Photography Summer Camps 2024

ALL New…our Summer Photography camps have been a request for years!!

Curriculum developed by Ana Brandt.

Ana will participate in some of the teachings, and her associate photographers will lead the activities.

Classes divided by age groups.

5-8

8-12

16-20

Several dates available.

Students should bring.

• Camera/lens/batteries/memory cards - Any camera that has an M on the dial so they can learn how to shoot in manual modes. We can also rent a camera (small fee)

• Lunch is provided each day please advise if there are special allergies or you are welcome to bring a lunch.

• Comfortable clothing and walking shoes as we will go on mini trips around the property.

Students will be taught.

• How to use their camera in studio light and natural light.

• All photography and camera terms will be explained.

• All of the settings on their camera and how to use them.

• How to photograph still objects, as well as people and pets!

• Create reels and videos

• They will learn how to photograph each other still and moving. (this means fun action games outside)

• They will learn how to manipulate natural light and how to create studio light inexpensively.

• All students will learn how to do a self portrait that we will develop and print and give as a final project to take home.

  And so much more - guaranteed to have fun and be inspired! We believe kids can learn at any age. Ana taught her kids photography at a very young age, and now Evan runs his own studio and Ava is a paid photographer for Chapman.

Hours 9-3pm

Includes camp t-shirt, camp water bottle, stickers and tote bag.
